A bit 表示“一点儿”之意，修饰动词，形容词，副词及比较级，可与a little 在肯定句中互换使用。

A bit 和a little 都可以作程度副词。

Could you please speak up a bit/ a little? 你可以说的稍微大一点声吗？

It’s a bit warm. 有点热。

A bit 后面加of 可修饰不可数名词，做定语。 而 a little 可以直接做定语修饰名词。

A bit of 后接不可数名词

His mother gives him a bit of money every day. 他的妈妈每天给他一点钱。

A bit of 的另一种形式是 bits of

A little “少量，一些”，也可作形容词。

1）后面接不可数名词

There is a little money in my pocket. 在我兜里有点钱。

2）后接形容词

My young daughter is a little shy. 我的小女儿有点害羞。

A little 表肯定意义， little 表否定意义。

For a bit 与for a little 有相同意思，相当于 for a while 或for a short time 可以互换。

Let me rest for a bit/ a little. 让我休息一会儿。

Not a bit 一点儿都不 相当于 not at all

Not a little 相当于 very much, extremely 非常的意思

She is not a bit exhausted. = she is not exhausted at all. 她一点都不累。

She is not a little exhausted. 他非常累。

A few “一些，少数” 接复数的可数名词

There are a few students in the classroom.

A few 表肯定意义， few 表否定意义。
