Keep 的用法与短语

（1）keep作“使......保持（在某一状态）”时，后接复合宾语，其宾补可以是形容词、名词、副词、介词短语、分词等

（2）keep作系动词时，后接形容词等。

（3）“keep＋宾语＋from”结构中，keep作“防止，使免于，阻止”讲。

（4）“keep＋doing”表示“继续（做）......；老是，不断，一直”。

e.g. Nothing must be kept from him.

The fish won't keep long.

I kept standing in the train all the way.

It is easy to find happiness, but it is hard to keep it.
