as 和with 都可以表示“随着”的意思，那么，它们有什么不同呢？

我们先来看看例子，比如：

随着时光的流逝，我们都刚好地相互理解了……

用as：

As time went by, we understood each other better

用with：

With time going by, we understood each other better

我们可以看出，用as的时候，后面跟的是句子；

而用with的时候，后面跟的是ing结构。

从语法角度来说，as是连词，连接的是句子；

with是介词，后面连接的是名词，或者名词性短语，ing结构充当名词time的补助语。

实际上，我们简单记住with作为随着的意思，后面动词加ing就可以了。
