During the summer vacation, I went to my grandmother's house to have fun. My grandmother's house is in the countryside, where there are many beautiful landscapes, such as green fields, clear streams, and various delicious fruits.

One day, I went for a walk alone in the fields and saw many farmers working hard with happy smiles on their faces. I went up to them and asked, "Uncles, why are you so happy despite working so hard?" The farmers said, "This year's harvest is great, it's a year of bumper crops. How can we not be happy?" After hearing what the farmers said, I realized that our happy life is not easily obtained. We should cherish it and work hard to repay our country.

In the evening, my grandfather and I went to the fields to graze the cows. While having a great time, we saw a child breaking a small sapling. I quickly ran over and said to him, "Please don't break the sapling, okay?" The child replied, "Why? I planted this sapling myself." I told him, "If everyone breaks saplings like you, then this forest will become a bare land." After hearing my words, the child felt ashamed and lowered his head.

The experiences of this summer vacation made me understand many truths and made me cherish our current life even more. I believe that as long as we study hard, we will definitely create a better life in the future.
