During the long month, I experienced joy, sorrow, and dreams. It was my first time experiencing life on my own, and I was in control of my summer vacation.

It was a scorching hot summer, and my dad, who was usually focused on studying and excelling, gave me a long summer vacation. He said that gold will always shine, and since I graduated from elementary school, I should go out and explore, find a job to challenge myself. So, with curiosity and excitement, I entered the doors of the "Brainwave" electronics sales center.

At first, I knew nothing about computers, and I envied the other staff members who were skillfully introducing computers. But what use was envy? I could only be anxious. After a few days of learning, I finally grasped the basics. Although I was still unfamiliar, I could at least handle customer inquiries with ease.

After finishing my job at "Brainwave," I started my "self-guided tour." I rode my bicycle and wandered through the streets and alleys of Shantou, savoring the unique charm of this city. Sometimes I went out to play with friends, sometimes I went to the bookstore to read novels while eating bread, sometimes I played badminton with my grandfather, and sometimes I went swimming...
