直接引语和间接引语：直接引用别人原句叫直接引语；用自己的话来转述别人话，叫间接引语。

陈述句的间接引语

陈述句的间接引语，应改为由that引导的宾语从句；

The teacher said, “You can get good grades.”

The teacher said I could get good grades.

She said, "Our bus will arrive in five minutes."

She said that their bus would arrive in five minutes.

“I am very glad to visit your school”, she said.

She said she was very glad to visit our school.

Tom said, “We are listening to the pop music.”

Tom said that they were listening to the pop music.

疑问句的间接引语

直接引语如果是一般疑问句、选择疑问句或反意疑问句，间接引语应改为由whether或if引导的宾语从句;

He said, "Can you swim, John?"

He asked John if he could swim.

"Do you go to school by bus or by bike?" He asked.

He asked me if I went to school by bus or by bike.

"You have finished the homework, haven't you?" My mother asked.

My mother asked me whether I had finished the homework.

注意：如果是特殊问句，间接引语应改为由疑问代词或疑问副词引导的宾语从句；

She asked me, "When do they have their dinner?"

She asked me when they had their dinner.

The boy asked,"How old is the man?"

The boy asked how old the man was.

祈使句的间接引语

直接引语如果是祈使句，间接引语应改为"tell(ask, order, beg等) sb (not) to do sth."句型。如:

"Don't make any noise," she said to the children.

She told (ordered) the children not to make any noise.

"Bring me a cup of tea, please," she said.

She asked him to bring her a cup of tea.

注意：直接引语如果是以Let's开头的祈使句，变为间接引语时，通常用suggest +动名词（或从句）。如:

He said:“Let's go to see the film”.

He suggested going to see the film.

He suggested that they should go to see the film.

感叹句的间接引语

1. 以what、how或that为被引述分句的引导词。例如:

what a lovely house!

He remarked what a lovely house it was.

How well he looks!

He said how well he looked.

He exclaimed that he looked well.

2. 根据原句意义予以改写，使之变为含义相当的陈述句。例如:

What beautiful weather!

He commented on the beautiful weather.

Congratulation!

He congratulated me.
