形容词的用法：
一、用来说明或修饰名词、代词的词称为形容词。
二、.形容词的句法作用
作句子中定语、,表语以及宾语补足语。
He is a very strict teacher(定语)
My grandpa looks young(表语)
The boy always makes his father angry(宾语补足语)
三、形容词在句子中的位置
1、作定语时放在名词的前面,如:It' s a big tree.一棵大树
2、作表语时放在动词之后,如: The idea sounds good这主意听起来不错
3.作宾语补足语时放在宾语之后。如
We must keep our environment clean.我们必须保持环境干净
4.形容词后置的情况
a.修饰不定代词时放在不定代词之后
I'll tell you something important 我会告诉你很重要的事情
b.与表示"长,宽,高,重、老、远离"的词连用时形容词后置。
He's l.8 meters tall. 他身高18米
The moon is about 380 000 kilometers away from the earth.
月球离地球大约38万公里。
.四、分词形容词的辨别:
—ed结尾的形容词，主语一般是人。
—ing结尾的形容词，主语一般为物。

bored/boring厌烦的/燥的
surprised/surprising吃惊的/令人吃惊的
interested /interesting感兴趣的/有趣的
五、形容词的比较等级:
规则形容词的比较等级构成
a.一般情况直接加er,est
tall- taller- tallest, long- longer- longest
b.以e结尾的,只加r,st
nice-nicer -nicest, large- larger -largest
c.以重读闭音节结尾的,要双写最后一个辅音字母,后加 er,est
hot -hotter -hottest, wet -wetter -wettest
d.以辅音字母+结尾的先把y改为i再加上er,est
happy-happier-happiest healthy-healthier-healthiest
多音节词或派生形容词（辅音+y除外）、分词形容词，在原级前加more/most
delicious-more delicious-most delicious
不规则形容词的比较等级构成顺口溜：
①合二为一有三对，"病坏""两多"与"两好"
②一分为二有两个，一个"远"来一个"老"
③还有一个双含义，只记"少"来别记"小"
ill/ bad→worse→worst；many/much→more →most
good /well→ better →best
far→ farther/further →farthest/furthest
old →older/elder→ oldest/eldest
little→ less →least
六、形容词的比较等级句式:
A=B(as...as)
English is as interesting as Chinese.英语和汉语一样有趣

3.A‹B ( not as/so...as)
This math problem is not so hard as that one.
