be used to something / get used to something用法详解

I'm used to something = it is not new or strange for me

我对某事已经习惯了，这件事对我不是新的，习以为常，

Frank lives alone.

（单身狗） Frank 独居。

He doesn't mind this because he has lived alone for 15 years.

他不介意因为他已经独居15年了。（万年单身狗）

He is used to it.

他已经习惯（独居）了。

He is used to living along.

他已经习惯独居了

这个短语在使用上要注意两点

第一： 和used to 区分开， I used to do something, 主语 后面直接跟 used

今天这个是 He is used to something, 主语后面要加 be 动词 （am/is/are), 然后再加 used

第二： used to 后面是可以加动词原形的，但是 is used to 的后面 要跟 名词 或者代词（例如前面的 it）或者 动名词 （living along），不可以直接用 动词原形 live。

再多看几个加深一下理解。

I bought some new shoes. They felt a bit strange at first because I wasn't used to them.

我买了新鞋。他们起初感觉有一些奇怪，因为我对他们还不习惯。

这个例子中的三句话都是一般过去时，所以这里用的是 I wasn't used to them.

这也是我们以后要说的一个话题，时态要一致。

Barbara's husband is often away from home. She doesn't mind this. She is used to him being away.

Barbara的丈夫经常不在家。她对此并不介意。她已经习惯他不在了。

be used to something = get used to something

可以把 be 换成 get，意思是一样的

Our new flat is on a very busy street. I expect we'll get used to the noise, but at the moment it's very disturbing.

我们的新公寓在一条繁忙的街道上。我期望我们能够习惯噪音，但是现在非常干扰（分散我们的注意力）
