1. 在否定句和疑问句中,通常用any,而不用some:
I don't want any more vegetables. / Is there any wine left? 我不要蔬菜了。/还有酒吗?
但在预料会或期盼得到肯定回答的疑问句中仍用some:
Would you like some milk in your coffee? / Didn't you borrow some books of mine?
你的咖啡里要牛奶吗?/你不是借过我的书吗?
Would you like some? / Weren't you looking for some of those?
2.some极少用于否定句,除非用于强调。可以译为“某些”如:
It should be for all our children, not just some. 这应该适用于我们所有的儿童,而不仅仅是某些孩子。
有时,在否定词之后some和any的意思极不相同。比较:
He didn’t like some of the ideas. 他不喜欢其中的某些观点。
He didn’t like any of the ideas, 他一个观点都不喜欢。
