I Learned Riding a Bike

This morning my father taught me to ride a bike on the playground. At first, I was afraid and dared not to try on. "Don’ t be a coward. Try and you'll find it easy." Father encouraged me. So carefully I got on the bike and at the same time, he held on the bike for me. I rode unsteadily and soon became very tired. But I went on riding after a short rest.

Two hours later, I could ride the bike by myself. I was very happy. Suddenly, I fell off and my leg was hurt. 1 couldn't help crying. But father said, "It doesn't matter. Failure is the mother of success." Sweating all over, I continued to practice, until I really knew how to ride a bike.

I felt very happy because I not only learned the skill of riding a bike, but also learned the truth: nothing is difficult if you have a determination.
