1、先看它们表示地点位置时候的不同

The ball isatthe edge of the table —— 也就是说at表示在某个点上，地点比较准确，而不是泛指。

同时，在学校，在工作，在机场等公共场合，用at形成固定表达，at school , at work , at the airport .

The ball isinthe bucket. —— in ,表示是在某个空间、物体内，比如，球在桶里。

The ball isonthe table. ——on ，表示是在某个平面上，就如图所示，球在桌子上，有上下关系。

2、on , in ,at 在表示时间的不同

at是表示某个时间点，记住这三个关键词，工作、时刻、圣诞，比如， at night , at 3 am , at 12 o'clock , at Christmas 等。

on 是表示某一天，比如，on mother's day , on my birthday等。

in 是表示月份、季度、年份，比如，in December , in summer , in 2017 等。
